Travel off the beaten track and experience

Thailand is well known for its beautiful beaches and exceptional snorkelling spots and there is no better place than the Krabi region. We recently stayed at Crown Lanta on the island of Koh Lanta with the kids and we wanted to take them out for a snorkelling trip they would never forget. Koh Rok snorkelling is tough to beat!

Gardens by the Bay is a must see on any visit to Singapore and was one of the attractions that made it onto our short list of things to do during our recent visit. It’s been 13 years since Craig and I first visited Singapore, there was no Marina Bay back then and Sentosa Island was nothing like it is now. This man made tourist mecca really is worth a visit even if you’re only on a stopover.

Recently I’ve been adding some posts from our earlier trips to New Zealand. So far I have covered off on our road trip to Wanaka from Christchurch, our road trip from Wanaka to Queenstown and Milford Sound with kids. We decided that we wanted to do something considered a little extreme while in the extreme capital of the world, the Shotover Jet was a far as I would go!
