Sydney’s Best Hidden Bars

Image
OK, you’re visiting Sydney and you might agree to pay Aus $100 to climb the Harbour Bridge – along with a few other bits of tourist stuff. But what you’re really going to want is hit the city at night and search out a few of the coolest places to do that. Don’t worry – we have it all covered for you; the easiest and best place to stay, and a selection of the coolest bars to get the nights off to a swing. So, first things first; find a handy Sydney hostel, and make it somewhere central so it’s easy enough to stagger back to. For budget accommodation, head to Sydney Central YHA which has its own hidden bar in the basement. If your number has just come up on the lottery, the Park Hyatt Sydney which overlooks the Harbour Bridge is not a bad choice. 25 Differences Between American and German High Schools

Image
(This post contains affiliate links, for more information read this  privacy policy ) School systems can differ drastically between different countries but you might not often be aware of how many differences there can actually be. As I have had the privilege of going to school in more than one country, I thought it would be an interesting post to compare my experience of the two different types of schools and just how many differences there are. Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this post is mostly based on my own personal experiences, studying in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and Ooltewah, Tennessee. Of course, these points will probably not apply to all schools out there and some things might be different...

A Unique Underwater Waterfall in Mauritius

Image
Underwater Waterfall, Mauritius. The remote island in the Indian Ocean, 2,000 km (1,200 mi) away from Africa, is a very attractive tourist destination. The underwater waterfall, located on the southwestern shore, might serve as a signature of Mauritius. It isn’t an actual waterfall, but an optical illusion: the sediment of sand and silt create this dramatic site. The reason for this is that the island is relatively new and a formation of it is still present, causing an underwater slope. Why to go there? The tourists are offered to relax in the white sandy beaches and enjoy the warm water, explore the mountains, a reef and underworld world. When to go there? The weather is pleasant and beach-friendly all year round. How to get there? Get there by plane to Mauritius Airport.
